Nebraska Elite Track Club Interviews

After the multi-year effort involved in writing a book, I'm cautious about starting another 500-hour hobby.  However, I've been a runner since 7th grade, and my sons Jack and Henry have followed in my footsteps, albeit at a much faster pace than I ever ran.  In December 2016, I volunteered to write periodic articles for Nebraska Elite Track Club, an organization founded by Coach Dustin Llewellyn to promote high school distance running in Nebraska.  About once a month, Dustin gives me the name and contact information for one of the best high school runners in Nebraska, and off I go to a McDonalds or random coffee shop to learn more about the runner and his or her coach.  The articles are posted at www.nebraskaelitetc.org and below.  These articles will scratch my writing itch for a while, and perhaps eventually I'll get the motivation to write my third book - about a high school runner.
